About Pentagon Kennel Because of the breed ban 1/7-2010 and now also the showstop in Denmark, I have decided to sell almost all my dogs. They deserve to have a better and more decent life, as it is possible for me to give them in this intolerant country, where this wonderful breed are not welcome. Greetings Tillie My name is Tillie Meldgaard, its me who is the owner of Kennel Pentagon. My great interest throughout life has always been dogs and will remain in future too. I am trained as educator, and has for many years been so lucky to have worked with children and young people within the Autistic Spectrum. I've been lucky that both my kids also have shared my great interest in dogs to, and right from childhood, they have actively participated in the daily workouts and exhibition of our dogs. We lost unfortunately our son, Silas, in 2008, but he will always live on in our hearts and in the many good memories that we hold about him. After a long break from the show ring, Titina, again come in the ring and it is with great pride. I can tell that she again will exhibits and train all our dogs to perfection, as she used to. Thank you very much, Titina!!! The last but not least, Mrs. Olsen also have to be mentioned here, because she in many years, have been faithful, and trained and exhibited all of our dogs, so it is fully deserved, she is mentioned here. Also a big THANKS TO YOU, Mrs. Olsen!!! Now little about our lives with dogs. What I in short can tell is that for many years i had Great Dane's as my very large interesse. I still admire this race, but the breed today has been bred more and more elegant, and in my opinion, thin and lanky. After the GREAT DANES, we changed to another type of the majestic mollossers, and for 7 years, we got : Mastino Napoletano's in our home. After the danish kennel klub, demanded us to take obligatory mentaltest, which was not made with any respect for this special breed, they soon became only history in Denmark !!!! I took about eight years ago decision to try a totaly other breed: Amercian Staffordshire Terrier. They are wonderful dogs we share our lives with today. What is our most concern in the daily life, we must have both physically and mentally healthy dogs that are able to socialize with other dogs as well as people. As an extra security for our buyers and of course ourselves, we have therefore chosen to have four unannounced annual vetenarian visits, police and environmental approval. One thing which will also be weighted highly on this site is to provide breed new blood and through trying constantly raising standards. We therefore Imported dogs from: USA, Spain, Hungary, Poland, Holland, Italy, Serbia. The offspring, which may come out of this strategy will obviously have to grow up inside the house by us. If anyone should feel like a little dog talk, you are always welcome to contact us. 1. July 2010 - Breed ban In Denmark At this terrible and feared day, breed ban was done by our intolerant and ignorant government to the" American Staffordshire Terrier". The ban meant that we cannot breed puppies, imports stop, that dogs must always wear closed muzzle and be in line outside all private property. The last thing our government has now introduced, is that we do not show our wonderful breed anymore !!! This is why we now sell our dogs we can abroad, with hopes that they will get a much better life than we can offer them here in our little new dictatorship country !!!!! Since dogs always have been a paramount part and enjoy in our lives, we have chosen not to give up, but we therefore change to other races. The choice fell naturally on Bullmastiffs, since the fascinating Mollosser's has always been in my heart. Because of an incredibly luck and very good friend's Help: Thomas Bach from TCB Amstaff.
